Mission Statement

Our job is to help get your horse back to health so you can enjoy your special time together. We are a full-time equine veterinary practice with over twenty-nine years of experience and are dedicated to doing an excellent job for both the horse and the owner. We understand that your time is valuable – we will call you back quickly or email back responses right away because you need information to help your horse. Our practice is diverse, from world-record holding racehorses, to show hunters/jumpers, to backyard pleasure horses/ponies, and even donkeys. Frank K. Reilly, DVM, Senior Doctor
Frank K. Reilly, DVM is the Senior Doctor at Equine Medical & Surgical Associates, Inc., in West Chester, PA. He has been in equine practice for 30 years and has worked on 6 world-record racehorses. He is a member of the AVMA, AAEP, NEAEP, and the newly formed AAPF professional farrier group. Dr. Reilly lectures at multiple events throughout the United States on Equine Cushings, Insulin problems, Summer Eczema, Vitamin E deficiencies, COPD/Asthma, and Horse Foot Canker.

Ashley Onder, Shipping Manager & HR Coordinator
Ashley Onder has been with the practice since August 2011. She studied Business Management and Marketing at Penn State. She manages the shipments to our customers. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys watching the Philadelphia Flyers and playing with her puppy Murray.

 

 

Laura Hess, Shipping Administrator
Laura has been with EMSA since 2016. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Biology in 2015, focusing on botany and genetics. She assists with boxing orders and answering phones, as well as packaging up distributor orders. She has always loved animals, especially horses and dogs. Her hobbies include hiking with her boyfriend and dog, reading, and visiting botanic gardens.

 

 


Jessica Fox, Shipping Associate

Jessica has been with the practice since July 2018. She graduated from Arcadia University in 2016 with a degree in Criminal Justice. She works in the front office and also helps to prepare and box up orders with the shipping administrator . Her hobbies include listening to true crime podcasts, painting, and cuddling with her dog Sophie.

 

Tyler Pennypacker, Client Communications Coordinator

Tyler has been with the practice since October 2018. She assists clients when ordering products, and answers any questions they may have over the phone, or via email. Tyler was a volunteer firefighter for 4 years- she now enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her boyfriend and dog.
